Print Diaries | Making ceramics with Candice

Print Diaries brings you into the lives and crafts of our city guide insiders. Candice shares her glazing process for a speckled bowl in our latest video.

Step One

Start with a pre-glazed, finished piece.

Step Two

Spray on black glaze at random to give a speckled, textured look.

Step Three

Dip the piece into the white top glaze and ensure it’s fully coated.

Step Four

Wipe the bottom of the piece and it’s ready to be fired!

 Thanks for coming along!
