A Day in the Life

ANTIQUE FURNITURE SHOPPING, A SNUG WINE BAR, AND A LIVE-FIRE DINNER WITH OLIVIA KELLY

A Day in the Life takes you into the everyday of local creatives and business owners as they show you the best of their city.

Olivia Kelly lives in East London and works in PR for Manolo Blahnik. During lockdown she started Oklay, a gorgeous line of handcast bum (yes, bum) homewares. We caught up with Olivia on what she misses pre-COVID, “Fun weekends away with friends, last minute dinner plans, seeing my parents and the feeling of sweet freedom!”, and her ideal day in London.

Backstory on Oklay

“I started OKLAY during the first lockdown, initially I was just making some booty incense holders for friends as little “pick me ups” to send. I posted these on my social media and everyone loved them so much that I started selling them and raising some money towards the NHS. Once I started a separate Instagram, it all snowballed from there and now here I am - an accidental small business owner!”

A live-fire concept that focuses on community, sustainable cooking and using the best of British ingredients - hands down the best burgers I’ve ever eaten!!! Head Chef Elliot, also saved the day with a super last minute delicious ham for our lockdown London Christmas Dinner.
