A Day in the Life
ANTIQUE SHOPPING, A PHOTOGRAPHY GALLERY, AND A CIRCULAR BOOK SHOP WITH ROYA FARROKHIAN

A Day in the Life takes you into the everyday of local creatives and business owners as they show you the best of their city.
Roya Farrokhian lives in Maida Vale, London and works as a Commercial Fashion Director. During lockdown she started Wine Dine & Line with a few friends; curated evenings of guided line drawing, food, & wine. We caught up with Roya on the backstory behind her epicurean adventure and her ideal day in London.
Backstory on Wine Dine & Line
“We dreamt up WD&L on a very cold evening during lockdown 3.0. At the time, we were missing going out for dinner, Phoebe (co-founder) had started drawing illustrations of restaurants she was missing, and Alex (other co-founder) and I had a lot of spare time.. so we vowed to host a drawing club/dinner for our friends as soon as lockdown was over. We worked together on each element of the evening and it's because we all have the same taste that it makes bringing it all together so much fun. We also have the help from our wonderful friends and family - a special shout out to my sister Zahra Farrokhian who makes the desserts for every event. Our next planned event will celebrate Iranian New Year, which is a nod to my family's heritage.”

“A book shop in the heart of Notting Hill with a restaurant in the back - where they choose a book from the store to cook from each week. I love how circular their business model is and how they serve food to the local community at affordable prices.”
